About Berkeley Wilde
I have been working as an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion consultant, researcher, speaker and trainer for three decades.
I work across all the protected characteristics and groups in the Equality Act (2010), the Public Sector Equality Duty (2011) and with the NHS on the Equality Delivery System (EDS2).
I am a specialist in consultation and engagement, as well as qualitative research, with equalities communities and groups.
I am passionate about empowerment and leadership, group work, facilitation and training, as well as equality and social change.
I work as a strategic partner in the delivery of hate crime and discrimination victim empowerment services in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset and South Gloucestershire with Stand Against Racism and Inequality (SARI).
I have worked with Next Link and Safe Lives on improving access to domestic violence and abuse services.
In 2016 I won the Ann Wood Award for making an Outstanding Contribution to Tackling Domestic Abuse.
I have worked with Bristol ROADS, and the Safer Bristol Partnership, on achieving equality, diversity and inclusion outcomes for substance misuse services.
I have previously worked with Relate Somerset, Mind Out in Brighton & Hove, the Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK Department of Health, All Party Parliamentary Group on Men's Health and the European Men's Health Forum in Brussels.
I am a Stonewall Education Role Model and a Trustee of CVS South Gloucestershire
